Eastwood Guitars is now shipping the Newport Bass, which is a tribute to a vintage bass from the ’60s. The EPI bass guitar, or EB-S, was manufactured between 1961 and 1969; and this example comes from the middle year, 1965.
The Main Squeeze is back with another cover, and this time they really make it their own. In this clip, they take on Led Zeppelin’s “No Quarter”, with Rob Walker on bass.
It’s been 11 years since The Raconteurs released an album, but this year they’re fixing that. “Help Us Stranger” will be released on June 21st, with bassist Jack Lawrence. The band announced a tour in support of the album.
