SynthFam DSP launches Samposium Music Sampler App

Introducing Samposium, a New Performance Sampler for iOS

SynthFam DSP is thrilled to launch its first mobile music app Samposium, a brand new music sampler app available for iPad and iPhone.

Samposium, built for real-time audio manipulation and performance, gives users intuitive flexibility to bend, shape, twist and sculpt samples using multi-touch gestures. Robust features include: sample pads with customizable FX chains, different playing behaviors, interactive waveforms, a 3-band parametric EQ, tuner and more. Samposium’s 64-step sequencer has capabilities to sequence up to 512 steps with different sync settings. By sequencing one or multiple sample pads, Samposium’s breadth gives users the capacity to create beautifully layered ambient textures or descend into destructive chaotic noise.

Another key feature is resampling Samposium’s main output which enables users to record their performance or create sub compositions for their projects. Samposium’s tactile approach to sample-based music creation is influenced by the experience of modular synthesizers and the vibe of improvisation. Samposium turns the iOS device into an interactive musical instrument.

Samposium is available in more than 170 countries and can be purchased in the Apple App Store for $14.99 which includes iPad and iPhone versions and a beta release for AUv3.
