BUENOS AIRES is an official third-party plugin by LONDON ACOUSTICS and the first release in the DEW Acqua product line, developed using Acustica Audio’s patented technology.
BUENOS AIRES EQ is our personal declination of a classic program-based parallel equalizer. This plugin can easily take care of your top end of the spectrum, whether for subtle use in mastering or for a decisive sound design of the individual track or group. Even just passing through with zero GAIN, BUENOS AIRES can lend your mix a well-defined and pleasant analogue texture, bringing out the detail at the top end.
There are two bands to act on with boost only: SPOT and DEFINITION: the first band helps to detect the mid-high frequency point on which to add detail, while the second band adds definition to the extreme high frequencies. BUENOS AIRES can be used in stereo linked mode or with independent L/R, as well as in MID/SIDE mode, again linked or with independent M/S. The MASTER 1/2 button sets the controls in a narrower and safer range of dB, a mode designed for use during mastering.

• Sculpt your top end in mastering.
• Sculpt your top end in single tracks (excellent on voices and acoustic guitars).
• Gently saturate your piano top end.
• Add some air to the bass.
• Unveil the texture of ribbon microphone recordings (this is magic!).

• Give special treatment to send/return reverbs.
