Windows-G releases E-NoiseGate600 - JSFX Noise Gate Plugin

Windows-G has announced the release of E-NoiseGate600, a JSFX noise gate plugin for REAPER suitable for removing unwanted noise and bleed from recordings, rhythmic gating, gated reverb effect, music/vocal ducking, and downward dynamic range expansion. It utilizes exponential coefficients for smooth attack and release envelope curves. E-NoiseGate600 features two detection source modes (Main Input and Sidechain Input), lookahead control (0 ms to 20 ms) for preserving transients, gain control (-30 dB to +30 dB) for boosting or attenuating the detection signal, three channel detection modes (Stereo, Left Only, Right Only), and adjustable high-pass (10 Hz–20 kHz) and low-pass (20 Hz–21 kHz) filters for sculpting the detection signal to prevent unwanted frequencies from triggering the gate. It also features two level detection modes (Peak for fast gate response on drums/percussion, and RMS for smooth gate response on sustained sounds). RMS mode uses the RMS window (1 ms to 1000 ms) to control averaging time. Control the gating action with threshold (–80 dB to 0 dB), hysteresis (0 dB to 30 dB), hold (0 ms to 1000 ms), and range (-80 dB to 0 dB). Shape the envelope with smooth, exponential attack (1 ms to 1000 ms) and release (1 ms to 1500 ms) curves. The GUI provides a detection level meter with open and close threshold lines, a gain-reduction meter, and filter status indicators. A Filter Preview button solos the detection filters, and an Invert/Duck button flips the gate's behavior for sidechain ducking. Advanced interpolation ensures no zipper noise during slider automation or real-time adjustments, while the plugin operates with minimal CPU usage.
