Rapid Flow Launches Zensphere Sample Based VST with Focus on Mix-Ready Analog Tones.

Rapid Flow has released Zensphere, a virtual instrument built from recordings of analog and digital synthesizers and processed in a professional studio environment. The instrument provides a broad palette of sounds while keeping CPU usage low, allowing multiple instances to run efficiently on modern systems.

Zensphere’s library comprises over 25,000 recorded notes captured from a collection of 18 hardware synthesizers. These notes were processed through a signal chain of 16 professional-grade studio processors, including mastering-grade compressors, EQs, and preamplifiers, to enhance tonal detail, dynamic range, and analog character. This approach results in presets that are designed to integrate directly into a mix with minimal additional processing.

Technical Overview

The instrument includes 222 presets and 222 raw recordings, covering a range of sounds such as basses, leads, pads, plucks, chords, and acoustic instruments. Zensphere is engineered for efficient CPU usage, typically consuming 1–2% per instance on modern systems, allowing multiple instances to run in large projects.

Zensphere’s sound design encompasses a broad spectrum of electronic and contemporary music genres, including House, Techno, Trap, Hip Hop, IDM, Soul, and Ambient music. All presets have been processed through high-end hardware chains to retain analog warmth and depth, enabling faster workflow and reduced time spent adjusting sounds.

Due to recent bug fixes with the trial version, the initial launch price has been extended for a limited period.

Compatibility

Zensphere is compatible with Windows and macOS, supporting VST3 and AU formats. It does not require a physical dongle or external license key, and the library requires approximately 10 GB of storage. Presets load quickly from SSD drives and can be used across all major digital audio workstations, including Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, FL Studio, Pro Tools, and Reaper.
