Tritonet releases Tritonet v3 for Ableton Live

Tritonet has released Tritonet v3, a major update to their harmonic composition system for Ableton Live. Tritonet treats harmony as an active structure rather than static theory, using the Circle of Fifths as a navigable control surface for chord progressions, pitch mapping, and tonal movement across an entire Live set. Harmony is stored as clips, allowing chord progressions to be edited, automated, and reused like any other musical material. Version 3 introduces GPU-accelerated visuals, a redesigned workflow, and an expanded polyphonic chorder with four-voice dynamic voice leading. Individual voices (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) can be followed independently by MIDI tracks, enabling coordinated harmonic motion across multiple instruments. Additional features include a 600+ scale library, full MPE support (including Slide), snapshot-based harmonic states, MIDI and audio pitch processing, and optional computer-to-computer MIDI networking.
