Sendy Audio, introduces its latest creation – Egret. Designed from the ground up for accuracy, refinement and comfort, Egret brings together a newly developed nano-scale diaphragm, advanced manufacturing processes and Sendy’s signature handcrafted wooden housing.

Available from 4th December 2025 and priced at £799 / $799 / €879, Egret continues Sendy Audio’s pursuit of pure, natural sound reproduction – uniting modern planar engineering with timeless craftsmanship. The headphone will be available from Amazon and selected retailers.

Precision engineering with a natural soul
At the heart of Egret is a custom 98 x 84mm planar magnetic driver – Sendy’s most ambitious yet. Its new nano-scale composite diaphragm, measuring less than 800 nanometres thick, provides lightning-fast response, pinpoint accuracy and lifelike dynamics.

Using Sendy’s Electron Beam Evaporation Deposition (EBED) process, ultra-fine aluminium circuitry is deposited directly onto the diaphragm surface at atomic level. This precision manufacturing results in enhanced resolution, reduced distortion and an effortlessly open soundstage – perfect for analytical listening, studio use, or pure enjoyment at home.

Built to be heard and admired
Egret’s wooden housings are handcrafted and finished using natural solid wood, with each pair featuring a unique grain and tone. The open-back design creates a spacious, transparent listening experience, while the ergonomically contoured headband and soft leather earpads ensure hours of fatigue-free comfort.

Egret’s sound signature is classically Sendy – full-bodied, balanced and organic – with deep bass extension, transparent mids and refined, controlled treble.

Triple-metal cable design
Egret includes a detachable balanced cable developed using a unique triple-composite structure for uncompromising signal purity:

· 30 strands of Furukawa Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC)
· 10 strands of silver-plated copper
· 10 strands of enamelled gold-plated copper

This combination delivers improved conductivity and definition, while a graphene-reinforced PVC jacket enhances flexibility and durability. Included 4.4mm balanced and 3.5mm single-ended adapters ensure broad compatibility across devices and amplifiers.
