Moog Music® today announced the launch of Moog Messenger™ Preset Editor, a comprehensive editor and librarian software designed to enhance the creative workflow for Moog Messenger synthesizer owners. Available as a free standalone desktop application for Mac and Windows, the Messenger Preset Editor delivers full visual control of every parameter and setting, streamlined preset management, and seamless DAW integration all while preserving the hands-on character of the Messenger hardware experience.

The Messenger Preset Editor provides an intuitive graphical interface that mirrors the Messenger's front panel, giving users complete visual access to all synthesis parameters. The software seamlessly syncs with the hardware via USB, allowing musicians to shape sounds using either the physical controls or the on-screen interface or both simultaneously. This hybrid approach combines the immediacy of hands-on control with the precision and overview of visual editing, creating an ideal environment for detailed sound design. The software's editor view surfaces deeper parameters typically accessed through the Messenger's settings and configuration menus, while a dedicated sequencer view provides graphical editing of the instrument's 64-step sequencer with full control over notes, velocity, modulation destinations, and probability-based generative behavior.

The Messenger Preset Editor includes a powerful librarian system that transforms preset management for the screenless Messenger hardware. AVAILABILITY AND PRICING

The Moog Messenger Preset Editor is available now as a free download for all Moog Messenger owners HERE. The software requires a Moog Messenger synthesizer and is compatible with Mac (macOS 14.0 or later) and Windows (Win 10 or later) operating systems. Existing Moog Messenger users will have to update their Firmware to FW 1.0.13.
