Algoriffix updates Transkr to v2.9.2 adding chord matching and in-app purchases

Saturday November 15, 2025. 05:55 PM , from KVR Audio
Algoriffix has updated Transkr V2, the audio-to-MIDI converter, to version 2.9.2 adding chord matching and in-app purchases to its rich set of features. Version 2.9.2 allows you to enter custom chords and have them automatically matched and time-aligned with the audio. Should you seek to use this functionality on complete songs, Algoriffix recommend you use a stem splitter beforehand to extract the harmony part or to remove the vocal. The chords are input as a comma-separated list of chord symbols. Currently, the following 11 symbols are supported: maj (major). min (minor). 7 (dominant seventh). dim (diminished). dim7 (diminished seventh). aug (augmented). sus2 (suspended second). sus4 (suspended fourth). maj7 (major seventh). m7 (minor seventh). 7sus4 (dominant seventh suspended fourth). The Axis progression in the key of C major, e.g., would be communicated as 'Cmaj, Gmaj, Amin, Fmaj' (no spaces). As a Mac user, you can now also unlock the full version by purchasing a licence from the App Store. To do so, click on the shopping-cart icon and select 'App Store' from the popup menu. Read More
