Pulsar Audio Release VM-Comp and MP-EQ (updates of Pulsar Mu & Massive)
Hey everyone,
We’re proud to announce major free updates for two Pulsar Audio classics:

• Pulsar Mu → Pulsar VM-COMP
• Pulsar Massive → Pulsar MP-EQ

Both updates are free for existing users, and available now on pulsar.audio.
New users can grab them at an intro price for a limited time.
Good news for U.S. customers: both plugins are now available again in your country.

Pulsar MP-EQ

Formerly Pulsar Massive, MP-EQ remains the same accurate emulation of a legendary passive tube EQ found in top mastering studios.
The plugin reproduces the original hardware’s sonic behavior — passive filter network, inductors, output transformer, and tube amplifier.

What’s new

• Linear Phase mode: optionally realigns all frequencies after the EQ stage. This turns an analog-style EQ into a true linear-phase one, while preserving all the analog tone and character.
• Updated graphics and workflow tweaks.

Highlights

• Smooth, musical response
• Curve editor, spectrum analyzer, Drive, and Auto-gain
• Analog or Linear Phase workflow, your choice

Pulsar VM-COMP

Successor to Pulsar Mu, VM-COMP is the same faithful variable-mu tube compressor — subtle warmth, transparent compression, and smooth glue on buses or full mixes.

What’s new

• Complete sidechain EQ with visual curve editor
• Extended attack and release ranges, allowing faster and more aggressive compression styles
• Minor workflow and visual improvements

Highlights

• Classic variable-mu compression topology
• Tube dynamics with modern control
• Perfect for buses, vocals, and masters

⚙️ Updating

Download the new installers from each product page.
Your sessions will recall properly; old versions are automatically replaced, and preset are conserved.
If you had automation on attack/release in Mu, expect slight timing differences.
For any issue: support@pulsar.audio

We’re genuinely proud of these updates — small but meaningful technical steps that make both plugins more versatile and enjoyable to use.
Happy mixing and please tell us what you think about these two!
