About the Session Amps: Blues & Roots EZmix Pack

The pioneers of blues, jazz and roots are pivotal to how the guitar is played and sounds today. This expansion for EZmix 3 is an homage to their legacy and the amps, technology and sound they paved the way for. Expect the entire range from close and bare-bones tones for anything jazz-tinged to all the raw and speaker-rattling sounds you need for your blues-, roots- and rock-related riffs.

All tones were created using neural network technology, giving you the actual sound of the entire in-studio signal chain – from the amp and the cabinet to the mics and the room. The gear sourced for this pack includes a rare collection of vintage heads, combos and cabs, all handpicked to give you the broadest possible crosscut of genuinely warm and authentic tones.

In total, 18 tube amplifiers along with 11 speaker cabinets for guitar and three classic setups for bass were captured. As always, every EZmix 3 preset includes its own unique set of parameters that give you granular control over all major sound-shaping components, allowing you to fine-tune each tone so it fits perfectly with what you’re working on.
