iZotope Releases Ozone 12

iZotope has announced the release of Ozone 12, the latest iteration of their comprehensive mastering suite. This new version introduces several new modules and AI-powered workflows aimed at providing greater control and efficiency in the final stages of music production. Ozone 12 brings three brand-new plugins to the suite: The Bass Control module is designed to give power and control to the low end, ensuring it translates well across different playback systems. A new Stem EQ module allows for fine-tuning of isolated stems like vocals, bass, or drums without needing the original multitrack mix. The Unlimiter is designed to revive mixes that have been overly compressed. The Maximizer, a long-standing feature of Ozone, has been updated with a new IRC 5 limiting mode, which iZotope describes as its most advanced algorithm yet, promising louder and cleaner masters without pumping or distortion.
