The 2025 KVR Audio Readers' Choice Awards

It's that time of year again! The KVR Audio Readers' Choice Awards are back, and the 2025 Nominations phase is now open. What are the KVR RCAs? The KVR Audio Readers' Choice Awards is an annual event where the global community of KVR Audio members gets to celebrate and honor their favorite audio software (and now hardware) products. Through a two-stage process of nominations followed by open voting, music producers, sound designers, and enthusiasts collectively decide the best-in-class products across dozens of categories. It's a community-driven award, reflecting the real-world tools that are most valued and used by audio creators. This is your chance to shine a spotlight on the developers and manufacturers who create the incredible products that fuel our creativity. From now until the end of September 2025, all KVR Members can nominate their favorite products across a wide range of categories. Changes for 2025 This year, we are excited to announce the addition of a selection of new hardware categories. Now you can nominate your favorite audio interfaces, MIDI controllers, electronic instruments and hardware effects, alongside the best software that you use every day. The RCAs have been a long standing fixture at KVR Audio, and as a result, for 2025, we are proud to introduce the KVR Audio Readers' Choice Awards Hall of Fame. This new honor is designed to permanently recognize products that have consistently demonstrated excellence and have become legendary within the music production community. Products that have won their respective categories five times will now be retired from the running and inducted into the Hall of Fame. This not only immortalizes their significant legacy but also paves the way for new, innovative products to get their moment in the spotlight each year.
