Noisebud releases REAPER script for generating vinyl cue sheets and premasters
Friday August 22, 2025. 05:45 PM , from Gearslutz
![]() Noisebud has released a REAPER script designed to simplify the preparation of masters for vinyl cutting. The script generates a properly formatted cue sheet as a PDF and sets up the REAPER render dialog with correct parameters for exporting Side A and B WAV files. It’s aimed at mastering engineers delivering final audio for vinyl. You import the already mastered tracks in order, select which items should go on Side A, and the script handles region creation, file naming, and cue sheet layout—reducing the risk of formatting errors and saving time. The script opens REAPER’s render window with suitable parameters prefilled, including sample rate, region-based bounds, and file naming. You still have full control to review or adjust settings before exporting. All interaction is handled through a GUI built with ReaImGui. The script supports metadata wildcards ($project, $author, $track, etc.), studio logo embedding, and persistent global/project-specific settings. Key features: Generates PDF cue sheets formatted for vinyl cutting Creates Side A and B regions based on item selection Prepares REAPER’s render dialog with correct settings (you render manually) Wildcard support for metadata and filenames Logo embedding (PNG) with height control Saves global and per-project metadata Intended for use with pre-mastered audio Requirements: REAPER ReaImGui (via ReaPack) wkhtmltopdf – https://wkhtmltopdf.org/ Optional: js_ReaScriptAPI or SWS/S&M (for file/folder browsing) Platform: REAPER Lua script — works on macOS and Windows More information and access: https://www.patreon.com/posts/135458494 More information and access: https://www.patreon.com/posts/135458494 Available to all active Noisebud Patrons.
