Native Instruments releases Session Guitarist: Electric Ruby Deluxe

Native Instruments’ latest Session Guitarist virtual instrument lets you play soulfully smooth chords, patterns, and melodies.

Native Instruments is celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Session Guitarist with Electric Ruby Deluxe, a new virtual instrument out today that brings the warm, resonant sound of a classic hollowbody semi-acoustic guitar to the acclaimed Session Guitarist series. To commemorate this milestone, Native Instruments has released free updates across the whole Session Guitarist series, adding MIDI drag-and-drop for easy export, updated riff and phrase modes, and next-gen NKS support.

Electric Ruby Deluxe channels the warm and woody richness of a hollowbody guitar with stunning realism. Switch between two distinct instruments: a pattern engine loaded with hundreds of grooves in different styles, and a melody instrument for expressive, note-by-note performances. Stack them to create full arrangements or jump from comping to soloing with ease – ideal for fluid songwriting, beatmaking, and scoring alike.

Find your perfect sound, from warm, airy cleans, to gritty depth using two DI signals and a microphone feed, running through Guitar-Rig powered pedals, amps, and cabinets, like the new mid-60s–inspired Reverb Delight amp.
