IK's Bonus Update Gifts 50 Premium IRs to all TONEX Cab Users

IK is pleased to announce the release of a free pack of 50 premium, studio-grade cab IRs available now for all registered TONEX Cab users via the IK Product Manager.

Since shipping last month, TONEX Cab has been transforming the way guitarists experience live performance. These new cabinet IRs will provide players with even more freedom and ways to sound better.

Handpicked from the best of AmpliTube and TONEX and captured with top-tier studio gear, these 50 IRs deliver unmatched punch, clarity, and feel. Use them to seamlessly integrate analog gear, add FX between your amp sim and TONEX Cab, just like a real FX loop, or free up DSP.

From Bassman growl to AC30 chime, you can load decades of legendary tone straight to your rig. Here's a sampling of the IRs you get. Use the included TONEX Cab software to browse and load any of these to the cab's 8 available slots.

1x8 57 Champion 57-121

Based on the 1957 Fender Custom Champ with an 8" Weber® Special Design speaker featuring an Alnico Magnet, this amp gained fame through guitarists like Eric Clapton, who used it to record many hits.

1x12 EV Darkness 57-121

Dumble combo amplifiers, renowned for their exceptional tone and high price, are typically equipped with speakers specifically chosen to match their distinctive sound qualities. In this case, we have an open-back 1x12 cabinet with an Electro-Voice EVM12L speaker, providing a typically mid-focused tone suitable for blues, jazz, and other genres.

2x12 UK Alnico B 57-121

Based on the Celestion Blue mounted in a Vox AC30, this speaker-a favorite of Brian May-is known for a soft attack, warm lows, and still produces bright, bell-like upper mids.

How to Get the Free IRs

Open the IK Product Manager and log in or create an account.
Go to the Hardware tab, then TONEX Cab to install the Software editor.
Once installed, click the Extras tab next to the TONEX Cab software to download the free IR pack.
Connect your TONEX Cab and launch the editor to browse, demo, and load IRs into the 8 available slots.

TONEX Cab is available from the IK online store and IK dealers worldwide for $/€799.99* with a black grill as the default. Optional gold and silver grill cloths are also available for $/€49.99.
