D16 Group releases Pulsatec - Analog Passive Equalizer Plug-in

Monday June 30, 2025. 10:20 AM , from KVR Audio
D16 Group has announced the release of Pulsatec, an Analog Passive Equalizer plug-in. Pulsatec - Analog Passive Equalizer Pulsatec is a plugin modeled after classic passive equalizer units. It is designed to deliver the tonal coloration associated with vintage analog gear. The plugin supports simultaneous boosting and attenuation within the same frequency range in the low band- a technique used to shape frequency content in musically pleasing ways. It features separate low-mid and high-mid frequency controls, with the ability to fine-tune the bandwidth of each mid band. In addition, a high-frequency attenuator is included for further tonal shaping. Pulsatec also provides a real-time analyzer that displays both input and output frequency spectra, with an overlaid EQ response curve to help visualize the effects of adjustments. Additional utility functions include output volume control, output metering, and a quick bypass switch for efficient workflow. The interface is scalable and supports MIDI Learn functionality, enabling integration with external control surfaces. Features Equalization: Low-Frequency Control: Selectable frequencies: 20, 30, 60, 100 Hz. Independent Boost and Attenuation controls. Supports simultaneous cut and boost for resonance shaping. Two-Band Mid-Frequency Control: Lower mid frequencies: 200, 300, 500, 700 Hz, 1, 1.5, 2 kHz. Higher mid frequencies: 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 12, 16 kHz. Independent Boost and Attenuation for each band. Adjustable bandwidth for tailoring the shape of frequency changes. High-Frequency Control: Attenuation frequencies: 5, 10, 20 kHz. Used for enhancing high-end presence or reducing harshness. Real-Time Analyzer (RTA): Dual spectrum display for input and output comparison. EQ response curve overlay for visual reference. Adjustable resolution for detailed or broad-spectrum monitoring. Utility and Interface: Quick Bypass: Enables / disables processing to compare results. Output Volume Control: Adjusts final output level. Output Metering: Visual level monitoring to prevent clipping. UI Scaling: Multiple sizes and HiDPI support. MIDI Learn: Allows external hardware controller mapping. 64-bit internal processing. Tag-based preset browser. Pricing & Availability Pulsatec is available for macOS and Windows in VST2, VST3, AU and AAX plugin formats for the introductory price of €49 until July 31st, 2025 (Reg. €89). There are special offers available for loyal customers of D16 Group software (delivered via email and also available in theD16 User Area). Read More
