Visual desktop beat manager — clean & private (Soundcase)
Hey everyone,

I'm both a music producer and a developer. I recently opened my own studio and set up pricing for my services. While doing that, something started bugging me — when an artist comes in and wants to browse through my beats, was I really going to just open a folder full of files? Definitely not.

SoundCloud? It’s functional, sure, but the interface is way too cluttered and not really built for minimal, focused sessions. I realized I needed something simpler and more visual — something that felt more like a calm, clean beat shelf than another social platform.

So I ended up building something for myself: a minimal desktop app called Soundcase.

It’s designed to help you manage your beat library in a visual, distraction-free interface — with cover art, flexible organization, and a cleaner way to browse your sounds.

There’s no one way to use it:

You can just keep your personal library neat, or use it as a visual showcase during an artist session — whatever fits your workflow.

You can create an account and your session data is stored securely, but your actual beat files and artwork always stay on your machine. No uploading — just local access and privacy by design.

There are no social feeds, no marketing layers, no noise. Just a focused space for your beats.

I've been using it daily in my sessions, and it's genuinely helped me stay more organized and intentional with my work.

If you're curious, you can check out the website and download the app — it's available for both Windows and macOS.
