![]() Warm Audio, the best-selling manufacturer of classic-inspired professional recording products, microphones, and guitar pedals, proudly introduces the WA-CX24 Large-Diaphragm Stereo Tube Condenser Microphone. Engineered as a faithful recreation of one of the most sought-after stereo microphones in recording history, the WA-CX24 is built upon premium components including two all-brass CK12-style capsules and TAB-Funkenwerk USA output transformers to deliver the lauded sound profile of the original. Featuring independent dual-capsule polar pattern control, full 180-degree capsule rotation, and expansive stereo imaging possibilities, the WA-CX24 delivers rich, stereo realism with vintage tube tone. The WA-CX24 (MSRP $1,599 | 1699 € inc VAT | £1449 inc VAT) is available at launch at authorized retailers worldwide. “The original mic has always been a luxury of high-end mic lockers, set apart not only for its incredible tone but for the level of flexibility and stereo perfection that it offers. Us making a premium recreation of this iconic mic allows more studios to have this tone and capability which is a cornerstone of the Warm formula,” says Bryce Young, founder and President of Warm Audio. “The tonality of this mic is unmatched with its natural and balanced sound profile but the true value is the stereo capability. There is no better mic for capturing perfect stereo recordings every time, eliminating phase issues, and reducing work in post. Being able to craft unique tones with this mic is a true added bonus for the most imaginative of engineers and artists.” The WA-CX24 is loaded with two of the same CK12-style capsules used on our celebrated WA-CX12 microphone, machined out of solid brass and designed to reproduce sound with vintage-correct results. The middle of the mic houses a premium 12AY7 tube carefully selected to bring vintage warmth to the circuit without sacrificing smooth clarity in the top end. Rounding out the circuit, the WA-CX24 sports two premium, USA-made T14 transformers from TAB-Funkenwork (AMI) to deliver ultimate signal integrity to the 9-pin cable and out to the power supply. The WA-CX24 is designed to capture the spaciousness and character of the coveted tube warmth and smooth top-end found in classic recordings. Engineers can independently assign one of the three traditional polar patterns (cardioid, omni, figure-8) or one of the six intermediate polar patterns, and rotate the capsule up to 180 degrees, unlocking traditional stereo configurations like XY, Blumlein, and mid-side, or inventing new ones altogether. This versatility allows for unrivaled stereo flexibility, whether tracking a full room, matched pair vocals, or ambient strings. The WA-CX24 delivers tight bass, naturally rich midrange, and velvety smooth highs, making it an ideal choice for stereo vocals, grand piano, acoustic instruments, percussion, and more. Included with the WA-CX24 is a dual-pattern power supply, shockmount, Gotham GAC-9 9-pin cable, IEC power cable, custom wood display box, and a rugged tweed flight case for studio or mobile use. As with all Warm Audio products, each WA-CX24 is hand-tested and inspected by trained technicians in Austin, TX, USA. The WA-CX24 ($1,599 | 1699 € inc VAT | £1449 inc VAT) is available now at authorized Warm Audio retailers worldwide. For more information, visit https://www.warmaudio.com/wa-cx24 Attached Thumbnails
