Soundtheory releases Kraftur Focus for Parallel Processing
Thursday June 26, 2025. 12:53 PM , from Gearslutz
![]() Kraftur Focus was developed in response to users who have asked for phase compensation. The original Kraftur intentionally uses minimum phase filters since they help to increase the statistically available headroom, while maintaining the energy of the signal. Kraftur Focus involves a hybrid approach which realigns the phase of the signal after the saturation stage. This means that Kraftur Focus can be engaged for parallel processing, thus allowing it to be used as a send effect. New features available in both editions include the ability to display a wide range of statistics - RMS, peak and peak hold values of both input and output signals as well as the Crest Factor Reduction. It is also now possible to emulate a band shift for single band processing by dragging on the single band’s transfer curve. Download the short overview "What's New in 1.2" here! Both Kraftur editions are available in one download for $99 at https://soundtheory.com UNTIL JULY 10 THERE WILL BE A 30% DISCOUNT ON KRAFTUR AS WELL AS ON GULLFOSS! Current owners of Kraftur can upgrade to the new versions at any time for free. For more information please visit: https://www.soundtheory.com/kraftur Attached Thumbnails
