Noisebud updates Peach to v1.60 – Unique Dynamics Engine Gets Sharper Tools

Wednesday June 18, 2025. 12:48 PM , from KVR Audio
Noisebud has released version 1.60 of Peach, a dynamic processor built around a concept of direct gain shaping. Unlike traditional compressors or expanders, Peach allows users to set the exact gain applied to the signal above and below a threshold, independently. The plugin includes filters to focus the processing on specific parts of the frequency spectrum and stereo field. New in v1.60: Oversampling (2× and 4×) for both the upper and lower clippers. Curve control for shaping transitions between gain zones. Stereo field selection (L/R/M/S) in both sidechain and output filters. Mute Above and Mute Below – allows full gating behavior. Revised GUI and workflow enhancements. Updated manual. Core Features: Independent gain for signal above and below the threshold. Sidechain and output filters with spectral and stereo-field control. Lookahead. Up / Pause / Down envelope timing with adjustable curve. Dual clippers with optional oversampling. Loudness Match using LUFS short-term. Delta monitoring and Dry/Wet blend. Resettable peak meters. Available for macOS (VST3 & AU, signed and notarized) and Windows (VST3). Peach can be configured to act as a compressor, limiter, expander, transient shaper, de-esser, or gate depending on user settings, but it does not follow traditional dynamics processor design. Pricing & Availability Peach is available via Patreon starting at $6/month. A one-time purchase option is also available for $30 through the Noisebud Shop: Peach v1.60 in the Noisebud Shop Read More
