Initial Audio updates SourceLab to version 1.0.8

Wednesday June 11, 2025. 01:14 PM , from KVR Audio
Initial Audio has updated SourceLab to version 1.0.8. Improvements: Selecting a Heat Up 3 instrument now automatically switches the Source to Instrument mode. Added Pro Tools support with an AAX plugin version. The Source popup menu on the browser page is now easier to navigate by limiting the columns visible to 1. This prevents overlapping menu items. Added support for deeply nested folders in the wavetable menu. Added 16 beat and 8 beat slice modes. Added playback mode menu on the Browser page per Source. This enables the user to easily see what playback mode the Source is currently set to. While also being able to change it without going to the Lab page. Bug Fixes: Fixed Serum wavetables not showing in the wavetables list on Mac. Fixed after touch not working correctly on MPE keyboards. Fixed mouse cursor could disappear while dragging knobs on Apple Silicon Macs. Fixed a possible crash or memory issue when duplicating/cloning the plugin. Fixed sequencers didn't deal with negative times correctly in logic pro. Leading to initial notes not being played. Added extra checks to block corrupt or badly formed MIDI data. Fixed possible hanging notes when triggering sequencers via the GUI keyboard. While playing a sequencer - If a note off came from the DAW at the exact same time as a note on in the internal sequencer, the note could play and then hang. Fixed auto slice threshold slider was overlapping the Slice mode in the Sample Editor. General Stability fixes and improvements. Existing Customers can run the SourceLab installer again to get the update. Read More
