PreSonus announces Studio One Pro 7.2 Update
Studio One Pro adds new virtual instruments, smarter workflows and performance upgrades featuring Sub Zero Bass, Nashville Number System, Tuner2 and more.

Today, PreSonus Audio Electronics, Inc. announces its latest update

to the award-winning DAW, Studio One Pro 7. Featuring an all-new virtual instrument, Sub Zero Bass, Nashville Number System, Tuner 2 with 30 presets for guitar, plug-in management, recording workflow improvements as well as system performance enhancements, this update empowers musicians with state-of-the-art music production tools. Studio One Pro is the ultimate DAW for music creation workflows, offering a powerful and intuitive environment to record, produce, mix, master and perform all within a single platform.

Building on the exciting launch of Studio One Pro 7, this new release adds powerful music creation capabilities as a free update for Studio One Pro 7 users or any users on an active Studio One Pro+ subscription. The October release of Version 7 equips users with features like a first-of-its-kind Splice integration, AI-powered Stem Separation, a new Launcher style workflow and much more.

“Recording is gaining more popularity than ever – especially with guitarists,” said Arnd Kaiser, General Manager, Software at PreSonus.

“Studio One Pro 7’s latest update offers powerful tools for guitarists and music creators of all types. Our goal with this and future updates is to continue improving our DAW while giving our community the tools they need to feel inspired.”

New 7.2.0 features include:

New Virtual Instrument: Sub Zero Bass™ – Sub Zero Bass takes low-end to the next level by combining synth basses, organic basses, bass guitars and hybrid textures for a sound that’s deep, dynamic and diverse.
Updated Tuner
2 Plugin – Tuner 2 now offers support for open tunings and custom tunings. Featuring more than 30 presets for Guitar, this indispensable tool just got more than 30 times more useful.
Post Roll for Auto Punch – Hands-free recording for musicians just got a whole lot easier! Users can use a footswitch to punch in and out manually or use Auto Punch now with adjustable Post-roll and the ability to use Pre-roll, Post-roll and Auto Punch in any combination. All related features are consolidated in the Record Panel so users can capture performances intuitively and fast with this enhanced Auto Punch/Loop recording workflow.
Nashville Number System – The Nashville Number System is a method of transcribing music by denoting the scale degree on which a chord is built. This and additional chord display options are available on a per-song basis and can be used everywhere chords are shown (global Chord Track, Editor, Events, floating Chord Display and of course inside the Score Editor). Popular among session players, this new feature is great for creating lead sheets, too.
Continuous Cursor Options – A popular feature request among Studio One users, the play cursor can now be fixed to the center or the left-hand side of the Arrangement, with Parts and Events scrolling continuously underneath.
Improved “Realtime” vs “Offline” Audio Export – Rendering tracks or exporting mixes just got a whole lot easier for users of outboard gear such as analog effects or synthesizers. The new “Automatic” option in the export mixdown setting avoids rendering in realtime (if none of th external devices are currently in the signal path).
Introducing Studio One Pro for Windows on ARM – Designed specifically to run on ARM processors, the first native version of Studio One Pro for Windows on ARM delivers power efficiency and improved performance (public beta version).
Improved Multi-Processing Performance for Apple Silicon – Users now have a choice to override the default system settings and force Efficiency Cores to be used for real-time audio processing.

Studio One Pro 7 is available with 30% off Perpetual License for a Limited Time - $139.99 (reg. 199.99)
