Algoriffix updates Transkr to v2.6.4 extending GUI for precision tone control

Algoriffix has released an update of Transkr V2, its versatile audio-to-MIDI converter. The latest version comes with a graphical interface for the built-in 3-band parametric equalizer, which allows you to quickly see the main air resonance and main top resonance — the two distinct resonant frequencies of a guitar body, and to shape the tone going into the analysis with higher precision. Apart from giving you more control over the algorithm, it also provides a visual explanation of the algorithm's performance, which is sensitive to the modulation of the amplitude of complex tones and the relative strength of each harmonic. An awkward bug that some may have observed has also been fixed. It occurred when the channel configuration was changed between the standalone app and the plug-in version, or when the plug-in was opened in stereo first and later in mono. If the right channel was used as input, the plug-in would not automatically switch to the left channel in mono and the input signal would seem muted for no apparent reason.
