Tuesday May 20, 2025. 04:06 PM , from KVR Audio
Fender has announced the launch of Fender Studio, a brand-new app designed for recording, jamming, and sparking musical creativity. This free application is available across multiple platforms, including iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, and Linux and also includes support for Windows ARM systems. What is Fender Studio? The idea behind Fender Studio is pretty straightforward: make it simple to record. Fender Studio aims to fix the hassle of setting up gear, and make it possible to get ideas out as quickly as possible. Just plug in a guitar or mic via a compatible audio interface (or even use the device's built-in mic), and you can hit record with a single tap. The app features a number of authentic Fender amp models including classics like the '65 Twin Reverb guitar amp and the Rumble 800 v.3 bass amp, alongside a selection of guitar and bass effects. Users who register a free Fender Connect account, can access even more amps and effects. Beyond just recording, Fender Studio also features Jam Tracks. These are 20 professionally recorded, multi-track sessions covering various genres, from pop ballads to heavy metal. They can be edited, transposed, individual parts can be muted or solo'd, or even adjusted to match the speed you want to practice at. Also included are built-in audio editing tools like Compressor, EQ, Reverb, Delay, and vocal effects like De-Tuner and Vocoder, giving a solid toolkit for shaping sounds. Fender Studio represents our continued commitment to providing players and musicians of all levels with great sounding, easy to use recording tools. Whether you are new to recording or a seasoned pro, Fender Studio delivers authentic Fender tones and intuitive editing capabilities to record, jam, create and inspire, for free. We are super-excited to release Fender Studio and hear all the amazing music it will help bring into the world. Max Gutnik, EVP & GM of PreSonus, Jackson, Charvel, Gretsch and EVH Brands.
