Slate Digital releases SD-D Chorus and Custom D Chorus VMR Modules
Thursday May 15, 2025. 10:09 AM , from KVR Audio
Slate Digital has introduced modulation effects to its Virtual Mix Rack lineup with the release of SD-D Chorus and Custom D Chorus modules. Virtual Mix Rack (or 'VMR') is Slate Digital's flagship mixing plugin that packs over 40 analog modules into a single digital workspace. Late last year, the company released Version 3.0, an update that introduced a new macro system, a comprehensive preset browser, external sidechain, individual module gain staging, and interface scaling that provides users with an optimized viewing experience. SD-D Chorus SD-D Chorus is a faithful recreation of a beloved chorus from the 1970s. Featuring the four modes from the original hardware, users can also experiment with different combinations for more sonic possibilities. The intensity of the effect can be adjusted, too – something that wasn't possible on the original hardware. Custom D Chorus Custom D Chorus takes the classic tone of the original hardware and gives users an unprecedented amount of control over their resulting signal. They can adjust the depth, delay, and rate of the LFO to their taste, adjust or bypass the built-in high-pass filter, adjust the shape of the LFO, or even randomize it for a totally unique result. Pricing & Availability SD-D Chorus and Custom D Chorus are available now for All Access Pass and Complete Access Bundle subscribers. They're also available for purchase as a bundled perpetual license for $149.
