Softube announces Console 1 Mixing System MkIII Update

Console 1 Mixing System Mk III update: Plugin Alliance control with 25 new modules, more to come.

Softube releases yet another monumental update to its revolutionary Console 1 Mixing System Mk III. With this update, Softube adds to the Console 1 arsenal 25 new modules to load within the mixing system. With more to come.

Now, users can load and control Plugin Alliance plug-ins directly with the analog feel of Console 1 Channel Mk III. No mapping necessary. The first round of plug-ins includes Brainworx, Focusrite, AMEK, SSL, elysia, Mäag, Shadow Hills, Dangerous Music, and Black Box Design.



To make for the smoothest experience possible and to ensure that controls exist where they best fit in the workflow, Softube carefully mapped the sections of Plugin Alliance “bx_consoles” for the EQ and compression. Softube also added support for Shape, EQ, and Compressor modules from well-known brand partners such as Brainworx, Focusrite, AMEK, SSL, elysia, Mäag, Shadow Hills, Dangerous Music, and Black Box Design. Every control was assessed and laid out to make sure users get the best possible workflow.



Console 1 Mixing System Mk III includes gain reduction meters and the EQ curves so that users get the visual feedback they need while using the Plugin Alliance products they love. For users, this all adds up to a faster, easier workflow that lets them focus on using their ears — no matter which plug-ins they choose.
