Ohm Force Announces Bohm Stereo Dual-Voice Kick System for Eurorack

Ohm Force has announced the release of its Bohm stereo dual-voice kick system for Eurorack, alongside two optional expanders, Bohm:Groove and Bohm:Performer. The system is being showcased at Superbooth 2025 (Booth W255). The Bohm main module is an 18HP Eurorack module providing the primary kick voice. It features a MICRO SD card reader for loading nine included OIFF (Ohm Force Interchange File Format) files, which represent different kick drum circuit models. Users can also load new models, custom wavetables, and samples via the SD card or update firmware via SD card or USB Micro-B port. Models can be tweaked using 'variations' via the FUNCTION encoder, and a RANDOMIZE function allows for quick sound changes. The module can load new models without stopping playback. Controls include HIT trigger, LENGTH, SUSTAIN, PITCH (with V/Oct tracking), PITCH CURVE, ATTACK, TRS DECAY, TRS TONE, COLOR, and FX. All parameters have associated CV connections, and LENGTH, SUSTAIN, PITCH, and COLOR have attenuverters. The module has stereo outputs. The Bohm:Groove is a 10HP rhythm expander that adds a secondary kick voice triggered by clock divisions, intended for creating grooves and secondary rhythms around the main kick. Controls include CLOCK input (with four divisions per beat), TAPS (to set volume of divisions), VOL, LENGTH, FX, and COLOR. All parameters have associated CVs, with attenuverters for FX and COLOR. A TAPS CV input and output are also available. The Bohm:Performer is an 8HP live performance-oriented expander that mixes the two kick voices and adds stereo processing for external audio. Features include sidechain ducking and live performance effects like DJ-style HP/LP filters, beat roll, and slip roll. Controls include IN (stereo audio input), VOL (mix volume), DUCK (sidechain amount), FX (effect amount with routing options), and ON/OFF (effect activation synced with Bohm's HIT trigger).
