Noisebud Skyline v3.01 – Keep the Mono, Stretch the Stereo
Wednesday May 7, 2025. 04:31 PM , from Gearslutz
![]() Skyline3 is a 3-band stereo imager that lets you shape the stereo field without messing up your mono compatibility. Unlike typical imagers, it doesn’t just throw stereo width at everything – it gives you real control over the sides vs center. You get: • Spread – push ambience without touching the mono core • Pan – move parts of the stereo image without affecting the rest • Width – boost or tame stereo content in each band without destroying phase relationships It’s great for vocals, pads, or anything that needs space without becoming blurry or weird in mono. Works surprisingly well as a mid/side tone shaper too. Skyline3 v3.01 now runs natively on both Intel and Silicon Macs. Available formats: – Windows: VST3 – macOS: AU & VST3 Read more here:https://www.patreon.com/posts/106198953 How it works: You don’t need to stay subscribed to keep the plugins you download – once you've downloaded them, they’re yours to use. However, if you cancel your subscription, you’ll need to become a paying member again to access future updates. Alternatively, you can buy Skyline3 for $30 directly through the Patreon shop. That includes all updates until the next major version (e.g., from 2.52 to 3.0). A super quick view of version 3.01. This video demonstrates the 'Spread' feature in Skyline 1.5. While it's an older version, it provides a good overview of the plugin's capabilities. Here, Skyline is used alongside Leaky2 to center a vocal in a live recording. Again, this showcases an earlier version of Skyline but still offers valuable insight.
