Musio Unveils New "Mic Position Mixes" Feature

Musio has announced the availability of 'Mic Position Mixes', a new feature for their Musio instrument platform. This update introduces a built-in mixer allowing users to control levels and compare different sound sources, including bespoke mixes and various microphone positions. Musio states that the feature utilizes recordings made with real microphones in studios worldwide, such as Neumann M50 tube mics on a Decca Tree array, rather than digital simulations. Mixes were handled by engineers including Dennis Sands. In addition to implementing the feature for the CineSymphony series, the Musio team recorded sounds in Reykjavík, Iceland, and Cape Town, South Africa, aiming to capture the authentic sound of each recording environment.
