Behringer Releases 2-XM - Analogue Eurorack Module Based on the Oberheim SEM

Behringer has announced the 2-XM, a classic analog synthesizer designed for Eurorack systems, drawing inspiration from the Oberheim SEM. This new module aims to bring the rich, vintage analog tones to a modern modular format. The 2-XM features two synth voices, including a total of 4 VCOs, 2 multi-mode VCFs, 2 LFOs, and 4 envelope generators. It offers two-voice polyphony, split, or unison modes. units can be stacked to add additional voices, much like the Oberheim Eight Voice. The unit includes MIDI and USB connectivity, as well as extensive CV/Gate patching capabilities. Features: 4 VCOs with adjustable frequency, modulation, and pulse width controls. 2 multi-mode VCFs with low-pass, high-pass, notch, and band-pass modes. 4 envelope generators with Attack, Decay, and Sustain controls. 2 LFOs with rate control. 2-channel mixer with level, pan, and portamento controls.
