Rhodes Announces Stage 61 Electro-Mechanical Tine Piano

Wednesday March 26, 2025. 10:38 AM , from KVR Audio
Rhodes has announced the Stage 61, a passive 61-key tine piano designed for both stage and studio use. It aims to deliver the classic Rhodes sound in a compact and portable format, drawing inspiration from the original Rhodes pianos of the '60s, '70s, and early '80s. The Stage 61 utilizes the same keyboard, components, and technology found in the company's flagship MK8 piano but in a simplified, passive design. The new Rhodes Stage-61 perfectly embodies the classic Rhodes Stage tone, now housed in a compact and portable retro-future shell, utilizing the exact same (Kluge) keyboard, precision components, and technology found in our flagship MK8 tine piano, it's the ideal choice for both stage and studio performers alike. Dan Goldman, Chief Product Officer at Rhodes Music. Features: 61-key Kluge Klaviaturen keybed. Classic passive circuitry (requires an amplifier, DI box, or preamp). Compact and portable design (59 lbs). Tines, pickups, hammer tips, and sustain pedal from the MK8. Single jack output. Tolexed wooden case with protective ABS lid.
