Steinberg releases the latest update to its Cubasis mobile DAW app, alongside the brand-new Iconica Sketch for iPhone and iPad app for mobile devices. It brings a production powerhouse and an entire orchestra to one’s pocket.

HAMBURG, Germany — Steinberg has today announced the immediate availability of Cubasis 3.7, the latest update to its award-winning Cubasis 3 app, alongside Iconica Sketch for iPhone and iPad, the first app-based version of its renowned orchestra instrument.

Cubase 3.7 adds enhanced tempo and time signature support, plus new sounds, while Iconica Sketch for iPhone and iPad is an entire 34 instrument orchestra with multiple articulations.

The latest version of Cubasis 3 lets users capture ideas and turn them into exceptionalsounding tracks, thanks to its improved support for tempo and time signatures. Music can be created in 3/4, 7/8, 15/16 or any other time signature, no matter how complex or unusual.

Multiple tempo and time signature changes or ramps can be included in a few simple steps.

Also in Cubasis 3.7, the FM Classics IAP adds the free DX7 voice ROM 101∼106 update.

This includes 384 keyboard, synthesizer, plucked/tuned percussion, wind instrument, sustain and sound effect patches, letting users carry even more classic 1980s Yamaha DX7 and TX81Z sounds with them.

Iconica Sketch for iPhone and iPad is a brand-new iOS/iPadOS app, which can be used with every Audio Unit-compatible mobile DAW app. Featuring an orchestra with 34 different instruments and 140 articulations, it is very simple to use. Its Adaptive True Legato system

intelligently adjusts to the playing speed, ensuring a highly expressive, authentic performance, allowing even the most inexperienced orchestrators to create masterpieces in sparkling audio quality. Users who own both Cubasis and Iconica Sketch benefit from a free additional plug-in version of the instrument, for improved integration and maximum performance. For Android users, Iconica Sketch is available as in-app purchase in the Android version of Cubasis.

Cubasis 3.7 is available through the App Store for 59.99 euros or 49.99 US dollars. Through the Google Play Store, Cubasis 3.7 is available for 29.99 euros or 29.99 US dollars. Prices may vary according to region. This update is free for Cubasis 3 customers.

As an introductory offer, Cubasis is available from today, December 17, 2024, until January 7, 2025, at a 40% discount and its in-app purchases on offer for up to 50% off.

The Iconica Sketch for iPhone and iPad app is available at an introductory price of 19.99 euros or 19.99 US dollars until January 7, 2025, after which it is available at its regular price of 26.99 euros or 26.99 US dollars through the App Store. It is also available via Cubasis for Android in-app purchase.
