Softube releases Echoes

Linköping, Sweden, December, 2024: Ready to play with a rich sonic palette of musical, rhythmic, and stereo delay sounds? After a successful pre-release to its newsletter subscribers, Softube is unveiling its new Echoes plug-in to the public at large. Users can plunge into the depths of delay design with serious adjustability options and sweeping visualizations. Echoes also offers presets that cover the most common delay uses in modern productions and the ability to paint with the colors of six distinct modes: Filter, Reverb, BBD, Tape, Pan, and Lo-fi. Plus, Dry/Wet and Feedback parameters, and Ducking and Output sections. Expansive presets & visualizations Echoes' comprehensive preset collection is designed to cover most delay needs in a production, and any one of the presets can be used as a jumping off point for exploring Echoes different modes. The X and Y axes on the Echoes interface offer a visual representation of the taps in the stereo field. Users can load a preset and then go deeper by simply moving the echoes around and experimenting to find the perfect delay sound. Six distinct modes Echoes features six different modes that provide a variety of colors from which to choose. Filter is perfect for vocals while Reverb mode is great for synths and guitars. BBD, or Bucket Brigade Device, is the technology behind those famous warm-sounding stompboxes from the 70s, complete with the desired aliasing artifacts. The Tape mode is based on tape echo machines immortalized by countless records. Pan is great for widening mono sources and adding movement to static sounds, and the dirty degradation of Lo-fi mode is excellent for getting creative.
