Blue Cat's Fader Hub 1.1 Virtual Console Released
Saturday November 30, 2024. 08:34 AM , from Gearslutz
We are happy to announce the release of Fader Hub 1.1, of free update for our mixing and recording console software with network connectivity. This new version adds new routing capabilities between console strips and an extra auxiliary bus to manage two independent audio outputs, as well as several MIDI and third party plug-ins support improvements (details below). About the software: Blue Cat's Fader Hub is a virtual mixing console that features a local mixer for an audio interface, and a network mixer to interact with other workstations or musicians across the network. It also provides multitrack recording capabilities with host synchronization when used as a plug-in. It can be used as a live mixer, to record a band locally or across the network, and to collaborate with other musicians remotely in real time with an online connection. The free update can be downloaded from the same location as the original full version (link received by email upon purchase). At this occasion we are offering a special introduction offer to customers and newsletter subscribers: Fader Hub is available with 20% discount if you subscribe to the bluecataudio.com newsletter before December 10th. Demo versions are available on www.bluecataudio.com in most plug-in formats and as a standalone application for Mac and Windows PC. What's New in Fader Hub 1.1: - Each input can now be independently sent to the local mix ("ME") and/or others via the network ("OTHERS"). - New Aux output bus to manage two separate audio ouputs (with optional recording). Select which strip is routed to each mix in the LLAN mixer. - Plug-in and App can now send Bank Select and Program Change MIDI messages upon changes in the user interface to keep external controllers in sync. - Find currently selected preset easily in the menu (folders containing the preset now display a check mark). - Next/previous preset can now be cycled in the current bank (optional). - App can now receive and send MIDI even when no audio interface is selected. - Both plug-ins and application now support SysEx MIDI events. - Improved performance of VST3 plug-in and VST3 host when receiving program change messages. - Plug-in bypass now follows plug-in upon drag and drop. - Fixed plug-in slot bypass reset upon plug-in removal. - Fixed a crash in the params map editor upon GUI load in some rare cases. - Fixed plug-in slots display issue on MacOS 10.10. System requirements: - Intel or M1 Mac running Mac OS 10.9 or newer. - Windows PC running Windows Vista or newer.
