Doffset is a lightweight plug-in that removes bias from audio signals. Bias may appear as either a fixed DC offset or as an inaudible low-frequency fluctuation. Sometimes, problematic-bias is clear and obvious. It can significantly increase the level of an audio signal without increasing its perceived loudness. Offset, however, is not always obvious. If it's fluctuating, or if it's combined with other sounds and other noise, then identifying it in an audio editor can become difficult.

Doffset fixes problematic bias. It loads with safe defaults that remove bias automatically. No parameter adjustments are necessary. Users may also choose one of the three correction mode options. Each mode gives a slightly different trade-off between bass response and the time needed to shift the signal to zero offset.
