issue with Presonus Central Station Plus and its CSR-1 remote ?

Hi

I got a Presonus Central Station Plus as studio monitor controller, because the features are just perfect.

But there is an issue: A high-pitched background noise, sometimes, and only when the CSR-1 remote is connected and active. Then the pitch of the noise changes when I turn the remote's knob.

So the solution is obvious: don't use the remote. But I'd like to, it's more ergonomic.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Would you tell me, if you're using the remote all the time and never had a problem?
Then I'd know I just got a bad sample, and return it.
