Daisy chain

Hi there noob Question here goes,I have a 2 Channel outboard compressor in to 2 inserts on my Mixer 1for snare and 1 for kickdrum, my question is can i daisy chain the compressor for nother channel on the mixer if i for example wanted compression on my tom, can this be done or not. My mixer is the Mackie fx16 v3 and the Compressor is a cheapish DBX266xl.
