Feedback, Please
Saturday November 2, 2024. 05:19 AM , from Gearslutz
Hello Everyone,
I took my first stab at scoring a scene, the Harry Potter "Order of the Phoenix" Wizard Battle: Dumbledore vs. Voldemort. Wasn't trying to emulate the sound of the original film, and tried to make a piece of music that could stand on its own without visuals. I especially don't know production. I've been getting comfortable with Logic in my spare time for a couple of years. Mixing and music production is probably my next step. Trying to get inside the psychology of a story, the characters and the audience is another. I want to create music for a living and want media scoring to be in my arsenal. I'm using free Spitfire BBCSO Discover, LABS and Logic instruments. Feedback on the composition, and overall production would be fantastic. Music is hopefully high in the mix on purpose. It looks like we can't attach a.mov file, so here is a link: https://www.sebastianstjohn.com/hp-video I have thick skin, want to learn and know there's a ton of knowledge and experience on this forum. Ya'll please learn me good. Thanks, Seabass
