Xlr to rca cable low end loss

Title pretty much says it all, running an xlr to rca cable out of my 500 series rack, into compressor, and like everything below 150hz is cut off. I have no idea whats going on i been troubleshooting for hours and can’t really find anything online so im posting on here. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
