Monitor Advice

Hello All,

Trust you are all doing well and staying busy!

I have started a new job where the majority of my work will be recording and mixing on-site classical performances. Lots of Organ, Strings, and Choral. The office I am moving into is significantly smaller than my personal mix space, and I am in the process of picking monitors for it. I will still have work from home on many projects with my PMC IB2s and LCD-X cans, but I am looking for a near-field pair of monitors that will give me a good reference for when I am on-site.

I am looking to spend ~5k for the pair and am mostly considering ATC, Genelec, and Neumanns.

Given these conditions, what would you fine engineers reccomend?

I have a few leads on some well priced ATC SCM20 PSL or Genelec 8331, but may be tempted to go with something cheaper like a KH120 and use the extra funds for a sub?

Thoughts?
