Ableton Live 12.1, CPU less efficient than 12.0.25

Hi there,

I was thrilled about the release of 12.1 mainly for its new features.

But.....I've compared performances of 12.1 vs 12.0.25 and unfortunately, 12.1 has up to 5% more CPU consumption for the same small projects (32 tracks). Even template takes up to 3-4 % CPU more.

My computer is an iMac Pro 2017 with Intel specs 10-core, 64g RAM and 2 Terabytes of SSD. Which is still a good machine nowadays.

I never had problems with the 12.0.25. but having that 5% additional load with the 12.1, makes some project crackles. Now I need to adjust my buffers depending on the project, which I did not have to do until this release.

Anyone has noticed that too?
