● Volume control within the app

● Play controls in the system header (optional)

Visual Cue version 3.0 adds the following improvements:

● New GPU-based waveform renderer to free up the CPU

● Waveform auto-scroll now synced to the display's refresh rate (including ProMotion 120 Hz)

● Improved click detection on overlapping cue point names

● Create cue points not only at the cue marker but also at the playhead (including during playback) and at the mouse cursor

● Further fixes and improvements

The most significant update in version 3.0 is the addition of support for DMX stage lighting and effects, which can be synchronized with music playback through cue points and other ways:

● Add DMX hardware interfaces

● Create one or multiple universes

● Import most common fixture types from the internal library

● Add any other fixture type by manually entering DMX channels

● Create fixtures within the universes

● Access individual fixture controls (sliders)

● Create presets for fixture types and load presets for individual fixtures

● Create scenes from presets

● Create chases from scenes

● Assign scenes and chases to collection items, playlist items, podcast episodes, and individual cue points

● Set up cue point automation for commonly used cue point names (e.g., intro, chorus, etc.)

● Use the built-in console to quickly access all fixtures, scenes, and chases, and to control pan/tilt, dim, strobe, gobo, and color

● Access automation controls, blackout, chase BPM, and the built-in console directly from the application header

● Currently supports ENTTEC ESP protocol, ENTTEC USB Pro, and Art-Net

The app continues to function as a regular desktop audio player for users who don't need DMX, offering the existing Collections, Playlists, and Podcasts modules, which can be purchased independently within the app.

Visual Cue can be downloaded as a full functioning demo from the Mac App Store with limitations on how many items can be added to the library. Both yearly subscriptions and lifetime purchase options are available as in-app purchases.
