Cherry Audio Introduces Blue3 Organ
Cherry Audio Revives Iconic Blue3 Organ with New Features and Affordability.

September 4, 2024: Cherry Audio is thrilled to announce the release of the new and improved Blue3 Organ. Blue3 is an incredibly detailed emulation of the world's most beloved tonewheel organs and continues the legacy of excellence established by its original developer, GG Audio. This virtual instrument painstakingly simulates every feature and circuit, and more importantly, every single source of imperfection, to give Blue3 an extraordinary richness that delivers the iconic, soulful sounds associated with nearly a century of blues, gospel, rock, and jazz classics.

Initially released in 2017, GG Audio's Blue3 garnered critical acclaim for its authentic sound and impressive emulation of classic tonewheel variations of the B-3 organ and beyond. Now, under the stewardship of Cherry Audio, Blue3 is back — better than ever and available at the unbeatable price of $49. Previous customers of GG Audio's original version can upgrade to this enhanced edition for just $39 directly from Cherry Audio.

Blue3 Organ is a meticulously modeled — not sampled — virtual instrument replicating the world's most famous tonewheel organs: the B-3, C-3, A-100, L-100, CV, and M-3 models. It features 31 tonewheel sets that accurately capture the variations between vintage instruments, 91 modeled tonewheels with phase synchronization, and an authentically emulated scanner vibrato/chorus.

Blue3 Organ now features a new, beautifully designed user interface with Main, Edit, Cabinet, and Perform sections. And it goes beyond the traditional B-3 sound by adding three studio-quality stompbox-style effects: Tape Echo Delay, Reverb with Spring, Plate, and Hall, and a Seven-band Graphic EQ.

Blue3 offers full polyphony for upper, lower, and pedal manuals, a customizable keyboard split function, and handy drawbar utilities, including Copy, Swap, Reset, and Randomize. Users can further refine the tones with settings for condition, key click, percussion, and multiple overdrive options with four different tube simulations to emulate the preamp and rotary enclosure's amplifier.

The integrated Cabinet section provides six speaker options — Classic 122, 147, RA-200, 4x12 guitar amp, custom rotary, and direct — and adjustable rotary speed with acceleration and deceleration. Additional options include settings for Diffuser, Front Stop, Memphis, and Wind for the rotary speaker. A visual microphone simulation includes spread and distance controls, four mic selections, and click-and-drag placement in an updated UI.

With MIDI mapping and a rich library of over 200 presets covering classic to modern tones, Blue3 is the ultimate package for both stage and studio, all while keeping it affordable for organ enthusiasts worldwide.

Cherry Audio is excited to offer the expanded Blue3 Organ for just $49 through cherryaudio.com and authorized resellers worldwide. Additionally, existing GG Audio customers with registered accounts at Cherry Audio can access their original Blue3 and Spin software, as well as receive a 20% discount on the new Blue3 Organ, only $39.

Also available from Cherry Audio is the B3yond Preset Pack ($9.99, sold separately) with 100 out-of-this-world presets that use comprehensive effects to extend Blue3 beyond the typical tonewheel sound, and take advantage of mod wheel and aftertouch on compatible MIDI controllers.

Cherry Audio's Blue3 Organ is available for macOS (10.13 and above) and Windows (7 or above) in AU, VST, VST3, AAX, and standalone formats.
