Noisebud Cozy-Den - analog depth ITB while mastering
Monday August 26, 2024. 11:21 AM , from Gearslutz
To simplify you could say that Cozy-Den is a very musical mastering expander. There are two main ideas behind Cozy-Den; The first is that expansion works better when working ITB to give you that soul a compressor will give while mastering in the analog domain. The second is that it's far more important to create a workflow based on how you USE hardware rather than trying to copy what they do or how they sound. By creating a workflow that forces you into treating a signal in an analog manner you also get closer to the analog sound. Did we succeed? You be the judge (as I'm sure you will dear Gearspace).:diddlydoo:
Cozy-Den consists of two bands, one low band and one mid to high-mid band. Both bands have an attack and release control, and to the right of the plugin, you have settings to compensate for the loss in high-frequency content and tonal controls for the expansion. There's also a dynamic wet/dry control and gain control for the signal that is below the threshold (it doesn't sound like much but this is one of the most appreciated functions in the plugin). Available as: macOS 64-bit AU & VST3 Windows 64-bit VST3 original post on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/posts/107382065 One-time donation option: https://www.patreon.com/Noisebud/sho...n-v1-30-316721 Tip: You don't need to stay as a subscriber to use the plugins. The subscription will make it possible to download and install new Noisebud releases but is not necessary to use the plugins.
