Since taking the helm with Ozzy Osbourne to write such iconic tracks as “No More Tears” and “Mama, I’m Coming Home,” Zakk Wylde’s prolific guitar work led not only to the formation of the immensely influential Black Label Society, but also to his taking up the mantle of the late Dimebag Darrell, filling in for and honoring his close friend on tour with Pantera. Over the decades, Wylde’s been no stranger to tone crafting, and the collaboration between his namesake Wylde Audio and pedal powerhouse MXR has resulted in the meticulous distillation of three iconic sonics: Phase, Chorus, and Overdrive.
