Sixth Sample is a Finnish-based plugin company founded by Aapo Vainonen, who after finding that most plugins used in computer-based audio production were unnecessarily complex, looked to provide tools to circumvent this. While filling this need, Aapo began to build plugins that he wished existed, and with a company mission that seeks to ‘make music production effortless’ these had to function in a way that didn’t disrupt a normal workflow with steep learning curves. Cramit is an OTT / distortion style compression plugin, developed in conjunction with Integraudio.
