Build Your Board: Jamie Stillman’s In-store Stompbox Selects

Getting the chance to see what different artists keep on their pedalboards is a fantastic insight into the nuances of their creative and performance processes, but we had a different idea: what if we sent someone into Sweetwater’s Music Store, let them pick a handful of pedals from the world’s biggest pedal display, and then we built the board for them? That’s exactly what we did with none other than EarthQuaker Devices’ founder Jamie Stillman, who was more than happy to oblige our sonic experiment. In fact, if you’re in the area, you can even come play this pedalboard we built for Jamie! In the meantime, Don Carr sat down with Jamie to talk through his selections and rip out a few riffs.
