Impact Soundworks announces RIFFAGE: METAL

Continuing our series of virtual guitar & bass releases and updates this summer, we've just launched RIFFAGE: METAL, a phrase-based instrument for heavy rock & metal rhythm guitar!

For years, many of our customers have been asking for a tool to help create killer guitar parts without writing out every note, as you would with one of our flagship Shreddage guitars. Our response is this new library, the first in the Riffage series, built on a similar engine as our previous phrase libraries like Allura, Charisma, and Cosmos. With Riffage: Metal, you can create badass rhythm guitar parts easily - no sequencing required - and it even comes with a badass out-of-the-box double-tracked, amped tone (with optional DI signal available!)

Riffage: Metal delivers 300 looping guitar phrases in 3 separate tempos (80, 120, 160bpm), each recorded in 4 keys, allowing you to play them in any key with minimal transposition. Phrases can be quickly previewed and auditioned with the built-in browser, which also features tag filters to help find the perfect phrase quickly by important characteristics.

Oh, and all phrases are also included as WAV files, in case you'd like to re-slice and mangle them in your DAW or another sampler!
