Space Invader by Siktone DSP

I´m very proud being able to announce this wonderful and most interesting plugin. I had the great pleasure to support the dev as a beta-tester and I couldn´t be more pleased with his responsiveness and eventually by the fact the plugin is now seeing the light of day for the public to enjoy it. Hopefully as much as I do.

It is one of the most interesting and unique delay plugins released in a long time. It can be used as a distortion box as well. And it delivers as such. This section alone is worth getting it. Beyond that, Space Incaders of course is so much more.

Space Invader is a phi-based (multiplying delay engine) serial delay with multimode distortion, cross time modulation and mixing of individual delay line taps. It is roughly inspired by units like MemoryMan. In conclusion this new Plugin is much more.

From interesting slapdelays, to beautiful stereo chorus, tape echoes to the very extremes (there isn't a better description as complete bonkers) of sound-design. It's all there and does it with its own intereactive non-linear uniqueness.

The Highlights:
- 2 time independent delay units for L+R channel (also linkable)
- 6 serial and multiplying delay-lines in total / 3 for each L+R with individual behavoir each
- Separate dry/wet sections
- Dry section including LPF/Saturation/Clipper
- Extremely smooth HP and LP Filters, modulatable
- 6 filters in total working for each of the delays incl. an additional 7th for the dry section
- 4x switches to get from extreme short delays to extreme drone like texture
- Modulation + Range knobs incl. x4 multiplier
- RT60 feedback engine, not your usual stuff-style, together with 3 Taps and Trim, the golden heart of the plugin
- Crossfeed, for independent tweaking L+R
- 10 different Saturation algorythms, based on pedal distortion, including very special unique and cool ones (this section has a own mix knob to blend the sat in)
- In/out volume knobs
- Softswitch for less artefacts, when switching through the different saturation-modes
- Headroom knob for the saturation
- interstage behavoir
- Extreme oversampling modes, incl. FIR mode

Some very cool stuff:
- very short delays possible for synth-like and robotic effects
- can be very rythmical
- can act as an instrument (not playable)
- comb-filter like effects
- extreme long drone-style textures with ever-shifting changes via modulation
- unique Saturation
- can be used as a saturation-box without the delay section - and it´s just awesome for that
- unique feedback characteristic
- conventional delay usage possible
- heaven for tweakers and sound-designer
- very interactive architechture of all single elements
- often very cool unpredictable results, if you go for them
- very alive and vivid, interactive reaction
- non-liniarity
- vivid stereo widening effects
- produces a huge variety of different tones, effects and styles
- the coolest bypass-button of all time
- design-and usage-concept in general
- invites you to explore and play with tones and sound-design instead of thinking in terms of numbers or other audio based scientific stuff
- excellent audio quality
- lets you forget time easily
- capable of making you smile very often
- so much more, too much to list here

- It is FREE!!! -

Space Invader might look like a toy and it is for sure a pleasure playing with it. Don´t underestimate it thou. It has an extreme complex engine under it´s hood and actually is everything else but a toy.
Enjoy and please do support the dev. / Cheers
